Fort Lauderdale law firm Lubell Rosen is proud to announce the success of firm partner Sandra P. Greenblatt. Greenblatt has been named the 2014 Health Law Attorney of the Year–Florida Global Award by Corporate INTL magazine. Each year, Corporate INTL compiles a list of top attorneys and law firms across the world, who have demonstrated excellence in both expertise and service over the past 12 months.
The magazine thoroughly investigates and researches each candidate, evaluating the nominee’s “service type, service range, business type, geographical location, how the business operates, and the expertise each team can offer to companies that either trade or may want to trade in their chosen jurisdiction.” Once the nominated firms and attorneys make it to the shortlist, an independent awards panel chooses the individual winners. According to Corporate INTL’s website, being named to its list offers a firm or attorney promotion across the world for their expertise in their chosen field. Greenblatt has been recognized for her successes in the field of health law, and can be featured in a special publication by Corporate INTL to announce the winners globally.
Greenblatt was one of the first attorneys from Florida to achieve board certification from the Florida Bar for her expertise in the health law field. In 2013, she joined Lubell Rosen as a partner. Prior to that, she worked for Greenberg Traurig and McDermott Will & Emery, and then served for 10 years as the president of Sandra Greenblatt, P.A., a boutique health care law firm. Greenblatt is a member of the American Health Lawyers’ Association’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Service, and helps mediate healthcare related disputes and negotiations.
Greenblatt has represented doctors and medical professionals, along with dentists, hospitals, long term care facilities, and other healthcare providers, for more than 28 years. She has litigated contracts, and has overseen mergers and acquisitions between medical groups. In the $60 million purchase of affiliated clinics and diagnostic centers by a publicly traded company, she served as lead counsel.
Part of the experience Greenblatt offers to her clients comes from her years as a hospital administrator for the University of Miami / Jackson Memorial Medical Center. She has also served as chairperson of the Annual Florida Bar Advanced Health Law Issues and Certification Review Course, and spent six years working with the executive council of the Florida Bar Health Law Section. Greenblatt also founded and was past-president of Women in Healthcare of Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. She has been published many times on topics of health law, and routinely speaks about fraud and abuse, corporate compliance, and other health law topics popular today.
At Lubell Rosen, our attorneys are proud to congratulate Greenblatt on her success, and hope to follow in her prestigious footsteps. Her recognition for the work she does to help doctors, medical professionals, and all Florida residents is an inspiration. With the professionalism and achievements of Greenblatt and all other team members, the firm looks forward to a successful 2014.
